The new Master of the Lodge announced his plans for the
year and they were quite innovative with a focus on the family. He
restructured the committees completely to help facilitate his plans

committees). District Deputy Neil Maddox was in attendance and conveyed
his excitement after the meeting on how well the new Master was
organized.

Clayton DeMolay Chapter presented the Lodge with a
beautiful official banner officially recognizing Hampton Lodge # 70 as
the host lodge and an official sponsor of the youth organization.

The brethren were saddened to learn of the death of Idus
Milam "Buddy" Wilkerson, who had been a member of Hampton Lodge # 70
for 51 years. The lodge acquired a computer for the secretary's use.

A called communication was held on this date for paying the
last sad tribute of respect to the memory of Brother Elmer Leonard
Harris, who passed away on 2/13/05.

The Lodge was proudly displaying the traveling gavel which
they had obtained by having seven or more members, including at least
one of the top three officers, visit the lodge which had it before.
This program encourages visitation between lodges.

Several of the brethren volunteered to help the DeMolay
members provide campground security at the upcoming race at the Atlanta
Motor Speedway. This is an important fund raiser for the DeMolay youth.
Eight visitors from Forest Park Lodge came and claimed the Traveling
Gavel.
