The following committees have been
appointed to serve for 2010
Building and Grounds Committee
This
committee is responsible for the security, maintenance and improvement
of the building and grounds.

Charity, Relief and Memorials Committee
This
committee is responsible to contact or visit members that are sick or
in distress and determine if the Lodge can provide any relief or
assistance. This standing committee also handles the charitable efforts
of the Lodge and is particularly responsible for relieving the sick,
distressed and afflicted in the speediest and most practical manner
when emergencies arise between regular meetings. This committee is also
responsible for paying that last sad tribute of respect to the memory
of our departed brethren and comforting their widows and orphans.

Fellowship Committee
This
standing committee is responsible for promoting and organizing social
gatherings with Lodge members and their families. Examples are, but are
not limited to, a covered dish dinner at the Lodge, a cookout at
someone's house, a dinner at a local restaurant or special occasions at
a Lodge meeting such as presentation of awards.

Finance Committee
This
standing committee is responsible for the June and November audits of
the financial records of the lodge.

Fund Raising Committee
This
committee plans and executes the fund raising efforts and otherwise
ensures the lodge is able to meet its financial and charitable
obligations.

Publications
This
committee publishes the newsletter, sends emails to the members and maintains
the website. It is responsible for letting the light of the lodge shine to the
outside world and the members at home.

Recognition
and Rewards Committee
This
committee notes and records outstanding achievements and contributions
of individuals to Hampton Lodge # 70, Masonry and the
community
during the year and recognizes those achievements at the annual
installation of officers in December.
