Each year bring a fresh opportunity for new leadership, new friendships and new community service. 2005 was no exception as the new officers were installed on December 10, 2004 for Hampton Lodge # 70.

Installing Marshall Joe Turner presents Tim Legarth and announces that he finds him of good character and ready to be installed as Master of the Lodge.

Installing Master Larry Griggers begins the process of installing the new leaders.

The important job of leading a Masonic Lodge cannot be performed without guidance from above. The Lodge Chaplain Coy Whittington says a prayer for the incoming Master.

While the Master is given great authority over the lodge, he must give his promise to obey the Code and ancient usages of Masonry. Bro. Griggers has Bro. Legarth assent to the many commitments that the Master must make to his brother Masons.

Bro. Turner presents the newly installed Master with his official apron and jewel of office.

Outgoing Master Leonard Gordon presents the Hampton Lodge # 70 Official Charter to Bro. Legarth, who becomes the new official custodian of the Charter, without which the Lodge cannot meet.

Each Mason who becomes the Master of a Lodge is entitled to receive Grand Honors. Bro. Griggers leads the member of the Lodge in affording this honor to Bro. Legarth.
