It takes seven years to make it to the top office of the lodge. It is a wonderful journey and great learning experience. It also shows a deep commitment to the fraternity. These officers are on that journey and form the support team for Bro. Legarth.

Steve Hendry receives his apron

Hampton Lodge sponsors Clayton DeMolay Chapter. Two of the young DeMolays assisted in the installation by delivering the aprons and jewels to the Installing Marshall. In a rare move, the Installing Master waived the normal protocol and allowed DeMolay member Stuart Hendry to put the apron on his father, the incoming Senior Warden, Steve Hendry. The exception was made to illustrate the strong relationship between Masonry and DeMolay.

Paul Roles gets his jewel

Incoming Junior Warden Paul Roles receives his jewel of office, the Plum, which admonishes us to walk uprightly before God and man.

Bud Smith receives his apron

With Joe Turner stepping down as Treasurer, Bro. Bud Smith, a Past Master who has served as Treasurer before, answers the call and is re-installed as the keeper of the Lodge funds.

David Stubblefield and Jeff Salter

The Deacons are the right hands of the Master and Senior Warden. Jeff Salter (right) is installed as Senior Deacon and David Stubblefield (left) is installed as the Junior Deacon.

John Luellen & Ed Hall

The Stewards assist the Junior Warden in the duties of his office, i. e., they help keep the brethren fed on meeting nights!

Mike Butler is installed

Past Master Mike Butler gets a congratulatory slap on the back as he is installed as the Lodge Tyler. This important post is often given to Past Masters as they know most of the other Masons who visit and can vouch for them as well as welcome them by name.
